What MedCarePrecheck is — and isn’t

MedCarePrecheck is an informational tool that compares your doctor’s lab order against publicly available Medicare coverage rules. It is not medical advice, legal advice, billing advice, or insurance advice. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare, CMS, HHS, or any government agency.

Accuracy

We strive for accuracy, but Medicare rules change, our data sources have publication lags, and final coverage depends on factors only your specific plan and provider can confirm — your medical history, prior test frequency, and what your doctor documents on the order. Always confirm with your doctor and your Medicare contractor before making decisions.

Acceptable use

• Upload only documents you have the right to share.
• Don’t use the tool to harass labs, providers, or other parties.
• Don’t scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the site.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We’re not liable for decisions you make based on MedCarePrecheck output, including but not limited to declined tests, accepted ABNs, paid bills, or appeal outcomes.
